PE

The class has PE on Monday and Friday. PE consists of organized class games like kickball, basketball, and colors tag. Parents who are interested in coaching a sport are welcome to stop by! Even if you can only make it a few times the kids enjoy it and learn a lot.

Violins

We have an instructor come in once a week to teach the students how to play the violin. They also learn skills that can translate to other instruments like how to read music and how to prepare for a concert. There are two concerts for the parents during the school year, I hope to see everyone there!

Computers

We will spend as much time in the computer lab as I can sign up for. Topics we will study include:
  • Typing
  • Microsoft Word
  • Power Point
  • Excel
  • Paint
  • Web Design
  • Internet safety and research
In addition, students will use websites to learn more about science, social studies, reading, and math.
