Ms. Barrett's Class

Hi! Here is some basic information about me.


I took this picture with my sister Liana at my karate dojo's christmas party. I'm the one wearing white. She kept trying to hit me. That's a sister for you. It's a good thing I know how to block.

Education: I went to the University of Arizona and double majored in art and media arts. I also took a lot of Education classes through Pima Community College. Right now I'm getting a Masters in Educational Technology from NAU. I have one class left. I enjoy the subject but I have no intention of leaving the classroom to do something with the degree.

Common Questions: Here are the answers to some things that the kids in my class ask every year: I'll be 31 on August 25th, 2011. I love teaching :) This is my fourth year teaching fourth grade. I also taught fifth grade for two years. I have two cats. They're awesome!
